Flight Kathmandu to Bangkok
Got up and had breakfast. Of course, my buddy was there again. In his eagerness to serve me (and get a
tip), he gave me hot water instead of hot tea, added stuff to my plate I didn't want etc., etc. I really don't
know whether he wanted to piss me off on purpose or whether he genuinely was trying to please me. I
gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him a tip which of course he liked.
I checked out at 10:30 am. Raj and Deepak came and said good-bye to me. A driver brought me back to
the airport. I was early and breezed through check-in. Upstairs, Thai's Business Class Lounge was brand
new, a big difference to the old one. Even had internet service and made waiting easy.
The flight to Bangkok on Thai Air took about three hours. Shortly after take-off great views of Mt. Everest,
Makalu and Kanchenjunga. I could not believe the views!!
Stayed overnight at the airport hotel in Bangkok as I had an early flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia the next
